We took a day trip to the traditional water town of Zhouzhuang. There, we visited two traditional mansions, one that belonged to scholars (the Zhang house), and one that belonged to a wealthy business family (the Shen house). We also had a lot of free time to explore the town on our own before returning to Shanghai for dinner and our hotel.
